iQOO, vivo’s sub-brand recently introduced a new smartphone model called iQOO 9T in the Indian market. Although the name sounds like a mid-range device, the iQOO 9T has a flagship configuration when equipped with Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chipset, vivo V1 + imaging chip and 120W super fast charging.
The design of the iQOO 9T is inherited from the iQOO 10 Pro series with a finished glass back, large camera cluster. The device has 2 colors, black and white with BWM branding.
On the front, iQOO 9T is equipped with a 6.78-inch screen, using an E5 AMOLED panel with FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The advantage of this screen is that it has an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor instead of an optical one like on many other models.
On the back, vivo equips iQOO 9T with a 3-lens camera system: 50MP wide-angle using Samsung GN5 sensor with integrated OIS, 13MP ultra-wide angle and 12MP 2X telephoto. Notably, this camera system is also enhanced by the exclusive vivo V1+ imaging chip, which appeared on the high-end vivo X80 series to improve image quality. The device has a 16MP selfie camera placed in the middle “mole” position.
In terms of performance, as mentioned, iQOO 9T comes with the most powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip from Qualcomm, it has 2 memory options 8/128GB and 12/256GB. The battery has a capacity of 4700mAh, supporting super fast charging 120W wired and 50W wireless. According to the announcement, the iQOO 9T can charge the first 50% in 8 minutes and fully charge the battery to 100% in 20 minutes.
The selling price of iQOO 9T in the Indian market starts from 49,999 INR, equivalent to 14.9 million.
